I had a delightful stay at an old ryokan with a huge, beautiful room. The traditional antique ambiance was charming and the onsen was a nice touch. While the staff had limited English, they still managed to be helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the traditional Japanese feeling of the hotel. The lobby was filled with antique decor, which made it very cozy and full of memories. The location was convenient as we were close to historical sites and only a five-minute walk from the train station. One of the best aspects was the recommendation the staff gave us for a local restaurant that served delicious beef. Another thing we liked was the free tea and coffee that was offered in the lobby, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
We didn't think the onsen was worth the price. There were only two baths, one too hot and the other not hot enough, and the facilities looked outdated and in need of modernization.

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it’s close to the train station and historical sites like Onsen. the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms had beautiful vintage decor. the indoor onsen was a nice facility to relax in after a long day.
The hotel had a strong smell of smoke which made it uncomfortable for non-smokers.

Spending New Year's Eve at a Traditional Japanese Hotel was a unique experience. the beautiful room was decorated with festive ornaments, and we were welcomed with traditional Japanese snacks. the onsen-style bathroom was amazing, and there were indoor and outdoor baths. the hotel provided Yukata and slippers to wear, which added to the cultural immersion. the breakfast was impressive, with various regional dishes and ingredients.
The location was a bit far from the city center and the main station. It was difficult to navigate and locate the hotel despite using GPS, and the hotel did not offer any shuttle service.
